Up fairly early, for some reason we took a picture in the hotel room. I logged in to check e-mail, etc., had a nice little continental breakfast, and then was on the road for what we thought would be a fairly easy day. Weather was nice and hot as it had been the last few days. Followed 29 out of Laurel and down though the DeSoto National forest. Stopped for gas in Wiggins, then got some direction over to rt 15 which dumped out out in Biloxi. Stopped for a photo op or two, and then followed 90 west. Stopped in Pass Christian for lunch, then pushed on into New Orleans following 90 all the way.

Stopped just outside of new Orleans, gassed up, then in was into the French Quarter. Stopped at the Marriott and looked for a room. They quoted something like 200 a night PLUS 25 EACH a night for the bikes for parking. Uh, no. Looked around as saw a plethora of other hotels, broke out the cell phone and started calling around. Found the Pelham for $109 a night, and parking was only $20 a night for all 3 bikes (parked in one spot). We have a winner. No window, but who really cares about that?

We unpacked, found out the AC in the room wasn't working, called the manager on that, then it was out to Bourbon St.! Walked around, checked it all out, hen found a nice spot for dinner. I had the Jambalaya, very tasty! After dinner it was out on the town. We jumped from club to club and had a blast. I'll skip all the details, but this city rocks. I made it back to the room around 5am.
