Up and at 'em! A great night to camp. Got up and packed up the campsite, got my laundry, showered and packed up all the way.

Breakfast is served in the clubhouse. Tim, the proprietor, went above and beyond to get me online to update all my pictures. By 10am I rolled out and made my way to Barber Motorsports Park. Spent the next 3+ hours looking around the museum. That place is fantastic. I highly recommend a visit there. Here are some pictures, I'll identify them later:

We left the museum in 90+ degree heat. Whoa. Made our way out and followed what looked like nice roads, they weren't. Strip mall after strip mall. We jumped onto the interstate to make some time. Then back onto the backroads and after an hour found a nice little restaurant for a real, southern, lunch. After that it was through the Talladega National Forest. What a sorry excuse for a national forest. The map looked like a nice road, but the roads were long and straight. After riding through Alabama for a day, I think there is one nice road, and that is rt 25 in Leeds, Al, near Barber.

Mississippi! After a long day, we pushed on into Laurel, MS, found a nice hotel, and settled in for the night. Walked over to a nice restaurant with great food, and a really, really fantastic wait staff!
