Up bright and early with Zoe and crew. Zoe entertained herself by checking out the photos from the night before on the laptop, and trying on my sunglasses. After everyone got ready, Lori, Darryl, and Zoe took off.

Lori and Darryl were very kind and let me use their house as a base of operations for the day. So after they left I got cleaned up and made my way out to Stone Mountain. It was interesting, a nice carving of Lee, Jackson, and ??? in the side of the mountain. There is a little skylift to the top I took and where I got this picture of the carving. I took a little tour of the top, where I noted the highest point, and the look down from above the carving. On a clear day you can see Atlanta, on this day, I just saw haze. And here is the view coming down the skylift.

| 12:00pm | After leaving Stone Mountain, I made my way back into Atlanta and decided to get lunch and then check out the Coke Museum. It was pretty cool, the best part was being able to check out all the different types of Coke from all over the world. Also a very cool motorcycle. And another angle. I them came out to a torrential downpour! I sat that out, then it was back top Lori's to pack, then off to my buddy Bob's. I got caught in another downpour, but made it more or less dry. |
| 4:00pm | I arrived at Bob's and we hung out and caught up for a while until Lisa and the twins, Zach and Amanda, made it home. Everyone took turns on the XX (Amanda, Zach, Bob, and yours truly). The Bob, the twins and I went to the pool for a little bit to cool off, then it was dinner, then just hanging out for the rest of the night. |
