Day 33

Bugs. Minnesota has bugs, lots of them. But wait, that comes later.
Up early to beat the heat, checked out the Badlands, got growled at by a Bison, so I got the hell out of there. Spent the rest of the day getting across SD in some serious crosswinds the whole way. Other than the southwest corner, you can have SD. Nothing to see. Nothing. Went through a timezone, so lost an hour. Then Minnesota, greener, but still boring. Made it to Isle on a lake and found a state park. Bugs, thousands of them. Yuck. Turned out the ranger used to work in Waltham! That was funny. More later.
