I slept like a rock. In fact, I needed to be woken up. Sleep good. We packed up, shoved everything in Jen's TT, then parked it over at the Embassy Suites. Then we all road over to the track. More traffic this time, but a quick lane split later we were parked closer this time and on asphalt. Ran into Dane and Rita Murphy as we were heading in! We were a little later than before, so we went right over to the turn 4 grandstands to check out the MotoGP practice. After the practice, many of the rider practiced their starts right in front of us. Here are John Hopkins and Kenny Roperts Jr. After the practice we walked up the hill where we ran into Colby, Todne, Nils, and Joe. Then it was on to the corkscrew. We sat there for a while to watch the bikes come through. We also ran into Paul and Lisa Duval!! Then it was back over to the hill to watch the SuperStock race and see Tommy crash in turn 4.

After the race we wondered the paddock some more where Sete ran right by us. He was in a hurry to talk to someone! Also saw Kevin Swantz signing autographs. Then it was MotoGP time!! First the RedBull parachute team came in, they were nuts! Then another flybye, then the race!! Nicky pulled out in the lead right away and just stayed there. It was awesome! There were some great battles for 2nd and 3rd place, but it was Nicky all the way with Colin second. Nicky was very happy as was the crowd! After the MotoGP race, we all stuck around for the SuperSport race. Then it was fight the crowds to get out.

As it has become a sort of tradition, we were off to Tarpys for dinner where I had a great buffalo steak, then the ride home. It was just get home mode, so up US1 to 17 to 280. Finally pulled in around 10:30p, and promptly crashed. What a weekend!!
